Bring the whole family to Downtown Ypsilanti for an afternoon of Halloween fun! From 2:00–4:00 PM, trick-or-treat your way through participating downtown businesses while collecting candy and enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Then head over to Yours Truly Event Venue from 3:00–5:00 PM for our Halloween Dance Party featuring music, snacks, and a costume contest. Admission to the party is just $7 per child. Or upgrade to a wristband for only $10 per kid which covers entry into party and a round of mini golf at Putt R Round. Join us at 114 W. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti for an afternoon full of treats, dancing, and Halloween memories!

ProMotion Visuals is setting up a headshot studio at Yours Truly for First Friday. Stop in between 5:30 and 8:30 PM for a professional headshot. Each session is ten minutes and $55, and it includes one fully retouched final image. Book a time ahead at or walk in and we will fit you in as time allows.

What will I be doing in the class?
Besides having the most fun ever? We will be going over some cookie facts, decorating techniques and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day!
Do I need to know how to bake? Nope! No baking experience required. We will have the cookies pre-made for you along with the icing already mixed and colored. Have a little decorating experience under your belt? Come on too! I can help with questions on icing mixing and dough spread!
What will we learn in class?
You’ll learn what goes into preparing royal icing, the value of different icing consistencies – we’ll touch on tips and tricks to make your cookies look even better than they taste (and they taste good)! You’ll also learn different decorating techniques.
